Seeds of Grace

Local Compassion

Helping Those in Our Community

AC3’s Seeds of Grace ministry began in 1999 with one volunteer putting some free loaves of bread out on a card table. Today, Seeds continues to provide relief to individuals in our local community and at AC3. We choose to include individuals in their own relief process, believing it will best help and not hurt their long-term growth and progress.

We serve the North Snohomish County area, primarily Everett, Marysville, and Arlington.  Appointments can be made for those requesting additional assistance beyond our drop-in days. Together, we’ll create a simple action plan, discuss next-step resource support, and options for pay-it-forward and life skills-building opportunities.

Drop-In Resource Days

Open most TUES. & THURS. 11-3pm

On these days, we offer a cup of coffee and limited resources such as a single-serve food bag (or a bag of pantry staples for those with kitchen access), cold weather items, personal hygiene, and other seasonal items, as available.

Our Mission

  • To offer Temporary Relief – Food and benevolence needs deemed a necessity.
  • Hands-on Resources – Simple budgeting, local resource matching and resume help and options.
  • Through Purposeful Relationships – An invite to join us in community life.

Our Vision

To help individuals reach beyond emergency relief and encourage them to take next steps toward self-development and personal growth.

Next Steps...

  1. Drop in on Tuesdays or Thursdays, 11-3 pm, for onsite limited resources and to pick up a local Compassion Directory.
  2. Complete a RESOURCE APPLICATION
  3. Set up a RESOURCE APPOINTMENT.

Upon completing a Resource Request Application and setting up an appointment with a Resource Consultant, we can meet and discuss the approval of a variety of small financial and benevolence-type requests ‘deemed a necessity’.

Most resource requests include creating a Next Step Action Plan or Pay-It-Forward option so individuals can participate in their own relief, giving them a sense of dignity and self-confidence that so many desire and deserve.

Email sog@ac3.org or call 360-659-7335 EXT. 103 to make an appointment with a Resource Consultant.

When Helping Hurts

The 3-minute section in the video below helps explain our compassion philosophy in which we desire to offer individuals experiencing poverty, locally and around the globe, a hand up and not just a handout.
