They named their E-Group “The Vulnerables” not because they are weak, but because when the group formed during the pandemic, they specifically invited people who would be the least likely to be able to return to in-person meetings soon. The group is still a blend of Zoom and in-person, but that hasn’t stopped them from having a big impact!

The Vulnerables chose a cool mission for their group: To be encouragers for difference-makers in our community. So, earlier this week they put together “care packages” for fire fighters and paramedics for each of the 4 shifts that serve at stations 61 and 62, then dropped them off along with encouraging notes.

Marysville Fire District serves nearly 100,000 residents of Marysville and Snohomish County, answering over 15,000 calls a year! That’s a lot of CPR, house fires and car accidents. The Vulnerables know that even a small act of encouragement can make a big difference, and that’s why they chose this as their mission.

At AC3, we encourage every E-Group to choose a “mission” which connects them with their community. Has your E-group chosen a mission? Picking up litter, reading buddies for kids, fund raising events for Seeds of Grace or Living Waters, what ever gets your E-Group to reach OUT into the greater community (see our C.O.A.T. imitative)
