Meet Our Newest Staff Member

Introducing AC3’s newest staff member and Youth Pastor, Alex (Alexander) Ghelli, and his wife Bri (Brianna)!
Alex and Bri are both from Arizona where Alex went to Northern Arizona University. They then transferred to Grand Canyon University to pursue biblical studies and social work. He is set to finish his degree next year.
Alex has been an intern and a director at several churches. Most recently at as a Middle School Director in Kokomo, Indiana. He grew a student ministry to 120 students and led a leadership team of 45.
Coming to Faith in Jesus
Alex and Bri really impressed us in the interview process! Alex’s story of coming to faith in Jesus is a miraculous tale of God’s grace for lost people, including his whole family. This has framed Alex’s ministry values around getting “broken people in touch with the Healer, and let the Healer heal.” His background in difficult social work has proved that he truly loves people, and we feel Alex and Bri’s energy, their warmth and their personable natures are a perfect fit for AC3. They got their COAT on!

Alex and Bri love ice hockey and Rick swears this did not sway the hiring process! But expect them to embrace the Kraken, while their deepest sport loyalties remain (for now) with the Arizona Coyotes (Yotes). Bri is a 4th Grade public school teacher who is also a track coach. They have one fur baby, a dog named Zona.
We’re Excited to See God Move
After the dormancy of the COVID season leaves us, we are incredibly excited to see what God will do through our new Youth Pastor to revive and build our Youth Ministry and inspire our students to reach and teach. Join us in praying for their safe and smooth arrival sometime in early August. Let’s be ready for action as our Fall ministry season begins!
