Seeds of Grace Resources

AC3’s Seeds of Grace of ministry began in 1999 with one volunteer putting some free loaves of bread out on a card table. Today, Seeds continues to provide relief to individuals at AC3 and our local community in a variety of ways:

AVAILABLE RESOURCES

Drop-in days are currently Tuesdays and Thursdays 11-3pm.

On these days, we offer a cup of coffee, a single-serve food bag (or a bag of pantry staples for those with kitchen access), cold weather, personal hygiene and other requested items as available.

  • We help match a client’s need to local resources including free resume services.
  • We offer creative ways ‘to help make ends meet’ during times of need.
  • Appointment times are available to meet with a Resource Consultant for a budget plan, job interview support and other needs.
  • We work with clients, helping them create *Next Step Action Plans, helping them assess their own needs.
  • When requested, basic life skills,  and Biblical counsel is offered.

It is our desire to help individuals reach beyond emergency relief and provide next steps toward self-development and personal growth.”

Next Step Resources

We approve a variety of small financial and benevolence type requests deemed a necessity. Most requests include creating a *Next Step Action Plan  so individuals can participate in their own relief, giving them a sense of dignity and self-confidence that so many desire and deserve.

Mission and Vision

Our Mission:

  • To offer Temporary Relief – Food and benevolence needs deemed a necessity.
  • Hands-on Resources – Simple budgeting, resume support and local resource matching.
  • Through Purposeful Relationships – An invite to join us in community life.

Our Vision:

To help individuals reach beyond emergency relief and encourage them to take next steps toward self-development and personal growth.

Get Involved

  1. Take advantage of and use our Compassion Cabinet located in our Welcome and Resource Center in the lobby. In them, you will find emergency-type resources that YOU can share with those in need; those in your circle of friends, at AC3, and those in our community. Ask about getting access to our small pantry. It has limited amount of shelf-stable foods, emergency food bags, personal hygiene supplies, socks, gloves, hats, blankets, a few clothing items, and diapers available.
  2. Consider joining our SOG Resource Team as a volunteer! Our current need is to have volunteers welcome SOG drop-ins Tue. or Thur. 11-3pm. We work hard to give those in our community a hand up, offering them steps toward valuable life and social skills in the process. (When Helping Hurts)
  3. Become part of the ongoing Reimagining Seeds of Grace process.
  4. Contact Twila or sog@ac3.org with your questions! You can also contact our SOG Board. A
