Compassion in Action

help hand

During our state’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy Order, Seeds of Grace and AC3’s Care Team have been looking for ways to help those in need; those in our community and those within our church body. What does helping someone look like during this unique time in history?

What we do know is, it will look different for each of us personally, as a church, and as a community. So pray about it and read on!

So where did we start? We started by asking, “Father, what do you want us to do? What local organizations and ministries should we partner with? How can we impact our community in a way that honors God with our actions?”

Thank YOU AC3!

Because of your faithful giving as an AC3er, we have been able to support several organizations in our community! Seeds of Grace (in addition to helping office drop-ins and fulfilling needed resource requests) has been delivering gas cards and bus tickets to our local Salvation Army. We have also provided on-going and/or one-time COVID-19 financial gifts to the Marysville Food Bank, the Everett Gospel Mission, Helping Hands and Generosity Multiplied.

Even some out-of-the-box relief ideas have been used: Material donated to MMP was given to a couple of AC3ers who are making masks for our local kidney center. Purchase of Door Dash gift cards to help support local businesses, given out as Livestream drawings. Our SOG box van may soon be borrowed, hitting the road to help others! Who knew giving could be so creative?

Giving and Receiving Help Options

Contact Twila if you or a friend could use a box of shelf-stable food or are in need of other resources. You can also donate non-perishable food items to Seeds of Grace to be distributed to local families when requested.

In addition to corporately supporting Seeds of Grace and other local organizations, we believe God may be calling some of you to give and drop off needed items, supporting those around us. If you are healthy and are committed to following social-distancing guidelines, there are even some volunteer needs that you can fill.
