Hey Parents!
It’s December! Can you believe 2019 is almost over? Amidst all the hustle and bustle I hope you are able to find some time to look back and reflect on this year.

December is often seen as a time to give back. Christians celebrate Jesus as the ultimate gift, for he was God in human form, who came down to be with us and ultimately to die for our sins. Christmas is a celebration of Emmanuel, God with us.
I encourage you to remind your students why we celebrate. It’s so easy to get caught up in the holiday and forget why we celebrate in the first place.
In December we are doing things a bit different! So here is a quick preview of what’s happening this week:
The Preview is also posted on our facebook pages!

December – Christmas Lights
Matthew 5:14-16 says “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
So this month we want to give back! We want to love on an encourage those in need and those around us.
This week we are spending time decorating cookies for first responders. We will also be writing notes for first responders and active military!
