VisionCast Retreat
August 27, 28 & 29 2010
Descend into Greatness

Why you should attend VisionCast: Each year you serve at Ac3 faithfully. And while serving the church provides you a sense of calling, purpose and community, it can take a lot out of you. We know! That’s why every person playing a part at Ac3 needs to refill with some high octane Kingdom rocket fuel at least once a year. Visioncast is a chance for us to do just that...together. We all need that regular recalibration that reminds us why we do what we do and tools for the next season. We need a break, a chance for fun and relaxation. Visioncast is all that and more! So make plans to join the Visioncast experience this year!

Note from Rick:
This year's Visioncast theme says it all about upside-down Kingdom life: Descend into Greatness. It's both obvious and completely counter intuitive. Who doesn't want to be great? I do. But who would assume that the way there is down?; downscaling, downward mobility, humility and servanthood? Not me. Yet that is the Message of the Master. That message is going to be brilliantly unpacked at Visioncast this year in talks by some of the Church's brightest young voices today: Francis Chan, Matt Chandler and Mark Batterson (Google them!). I hope you'll plan now to take this in, and put yourself in a position to be stretched, to be comforted, to be touched by God's call in a fresh way you will not be disappointed!

Men's Forum

Watch for Men's Forum sometime during the winter season. The men meet for 4 or 5 weeks one night each week. The focus of each forum is different and guest speakers are brought in to dig deep into the selected topic. This is a time of teaching, worship and small group discussions directed specifically for men, by men. It is sponsored by all the churches in Marysville and open to all men! If you have questions or would like to know when the next forum is contact James Brooke at 360-631-4498.

This year's 2010 men's forum is: The Four Pillars of a Man's Heart. Based on the book by Stu Weber. 5 Tuesdays at 'The Word of Life" church (1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9) 6:45pm. Located at 9028 51st Ave. NE. Click here for a map.
