PAUSE is here!

PAUSE - 2010
PAUSE is coming! We do things a bit different in August; we take a break from regular church and give our volunteers a much-needed PAUSE. Here is this year’s schedule so far:

  • Aug. 6, 13, 20, & 27, Outer Court, 7pm, Carabinieri Bar on 3rd St.
  • Aug. 5 & 6 Willow Creek Leadership Summit, call 659-SEEK
  • Aug. 15 Dr. Craig Hazen will be speaking at Marysville New Life Church 10:30am at Grove Elementary school. This is our very own Dan Hazen's cousin.
  • Aug. 21 Summer Jubilee, Cascade Elementary, 10-1pm
  • Aug. 24 Family Night at Aquasox, Call Twila, 659-SEEK
  • Aug. 27-29 VisionCast Retreat, information and registration is available here.
  • Sept. 11, 12 “Beach Bucket Bingo,” a new series on friendships & community, Sat. 6pm, Sun. 10am

Dresses for Education in Malawi

PAUSE is HERE

-If your response was “What is PAUSE?” you need to know that we don’t do ‘normal’ church in August. Instead we take a break from the ‘normal’ and celebrate a Sabbath. Our first Pause activity will be a Family Flapjack Fest on August 1st 8:30am before our last ‘normal’ Sunday service until September 11th. Other pause activities:

  • August 15 Marysville New Life Church will be hosting Dr. Craig Hazen the founder and director of the graduate program in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, cousin to our very own Dan Hazen. 10:30am at Grove Elementary.
