Seeds of Grace is one of our community outreach ministries. SOG (for short) is run by a board of committed individuals who desire to provide hope to those with less in our community. They are always looking for new ways to offer clients a helping  up, giving them a sense of dignity and the self confidence that so many desire and deserve.

We are committed to offering two-way giving which is healthier for everyone involved in the exchange; those receiving resources and those giving them.

One-on-one resource consultations for resources, benevolence requests and to create pay-it-forward action plans can be made by emailing or calling 360-659-7335 ext. 202. You can preview and print our Resource Assistance Application Form above.

Market Place Training

For individuals looking for fresh job and social skills training, with a small stipend possibility, being involved in our seasonal Market Mentorship Project (section below) may be an option for you! Space is limited.

"Growing Opportunities One Market at a Time!"

What is the SEEDS Market Mentorship Project? A. It’s an 8-16 week educational, vocational and hands-on work experience that offers individuals a market place experience in which they can grow their employment and social skills. This adds value to their resume with the potential to earn a supplemental income for qualifying applicants.

A variety of MMP learning tracks take place in the Marysville area including our Seeds of Grace Resource Exchange, harvesting food First Fruits Farm and the Marysville Farmers Market. MMP continues to look for new market place partnerships in which individuals, who need a hand up, can grow vocational and valuable life skills year round.

Like coffee? Support our Market Mentorship Project and enjoy a great cup of local coffee at the same time!

special thanks

Special thanks to our team of SOG drivers, sorters and distribution day volunteers! This team is essential to 'rescuing' bread, food and other useful items that are at or near their pull date.

Without the following supporters we could not do the work God has given us to do:

Seasonal Food and Toy Drive Support

  • Safeway, Smokey Point
  • Unchained Brotherhood Motorcycle Club (Everett)

Interested in volunteering? No experience required and your service can qualify as part of your two-way exchange participation!

There are a variety of ways you can help out SOG with just an hour or two a week or once-a-month. Please email us at to get plugged in. You can also get your questions answered by contacting Twila.
