Pausing for the BEST HOUR at AC3

Hey...What's the BIG Idea?  K-5th Grades
Each month during Connection services at AC3, we implement one BIG IDEA that our K-5th graders and adults learn together. To make the most of our church wide learning, ask your child what they learned in Kreek Kids on your drive home. Then, during the week, continue to grow your family's faith by reviewing each month's BIG IDEA by posting the monthly handout on your refrigerator. Commit to learning each verse and reviewing weekly concepts learned. You will find the BIG IDEA handouts in your child's classroom, on the Check-In Bulletin Board as well as online. (Saturday and Sunday services may vary in content)

AUGUST PAUSE No AC3 or Kreek Kids Programs ~ What's the Pause?

Bounce on Over to the 'Art for Africa' Craft and Fun Fair
A special family friendly arts and craft fair will be held at the NEW building location on Saturday, July 12th. All proceeds will go toward AC3's current mission project; Malawi, Africa.

There will be lots of crafts and activities, concessions and special raffles including one the kids will love...the new Wii system with an extra game, Mario Cart! The popular bouncy house and our bubble machine will also be there for kids to dance, jump and bounce around in.  If you're looking for something fun to do as a family with a few of your friends, don't miss this fun fair!

The 'Art for Africa' planning team would like more help and are looking for individuals and families who would enjoy serving together at the fair, decorating before the fair, or cleaning up after the fair. Contact Brandi or Carin If you'd like to donate, serve or have additional event questions.

Pausing for the BEST HOUR

During the month of August, AC3 does not hold regular weekend services. At first glance, AC3's Pause for the Cause may sound a little strange but has become a part of our church DNA. The Pause has proven to be an effective way to help rest, refresh and regroup our many different AC3 volunteers who help maintain 'two' unique service styles each and every weekend; Community and Connection

Each weekend service is supported by a children's ministry team filled with volunteers who serve in high energy positions. Nothing keeps you hopping like an busy preschooler and inquisitive school age children. The August Pause has helped our Kreek Kids to be able to rest 'physically and mentally' so we can we press boldly into our mission...To be the BEST HOUR in Every Family's Week!  Regular children's programming will return this fall, the weekend after Labor Day. Watch the AC3 calendar for details!

We’re Looking
for YOU!
Did you know it takes a team of 60+ volunteers to provide a ‘fully’ staffed children’s ministry at AC3 each month? That’s a large team and our mission is extremely important! It is our desire to make an eternal difference in the life of a child and their family. What does an eternal difference mean? It means that, at whatever age a child is, we want to introduce them to Christ in a way they can understand. So that in God’s timing, a child might one day entering into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. What an awesome experience when a child understands and makes that decision!

How does a volunteer participate? We use a gift-based and team-driven approach to ministry. This means no one carries the whole program by themselves and individuals are encouraged to fully engage in their specialized passion and giftedness. What a vivid example to our children of how the body of Christ works! Would you like to know more about joining our team? Serve as little as 'once-a-month' or check out our flexible and rotating schedules from September through July. (August off)

As we head into the new year and serving families in our new building during 2008-09,
we truly are
...Looking for YOU!

During the August Pause,
we deep clean and reorganize classrooms for fall.
