Mother's and Father's Day Services
Special skits, music, children's activities and presentation will be part of our Community services on Mother's and Father's Day weekends. We would like to put together a special Power Point picture presentation for this special service and will need a variety of pictures in order to do this project well.

Picture Deadline: Pictures of mothers with their children need to be in by 5/5 and pictures of fathers with their children by 6/5. You can drop off pictures at the office or email them to twila.allencreek@verizon.net. Questions?  Contact Twila 425-334-8043 or at 360-659-7335.
What Moms Really Want for Mother's Day

 (Sunday, May 13th)

10. To be able to eat a whole candy bar (alone) and drink a soda without any "floaties" (ie, backwash).

 9. To have her 14 year-old daughter answer a question without rolling her eyes in that "Why is this person my mother?" way.

 8. Five pounds of chocolate that won't add twenty pounds to her figure.

 7. A shower without a child peeking through the curtain with a "Hi ya mom!" just as she puts a razor to her ankle.

 6. A full time cleaning person who looks like Brad Pitt.

 5.
For her teenager to announce, "Hey, Mom! I got a full scholarship and a job all in the same day!"

 4. A grocery store that doesn't have candy/gum or cheap toys displayed at the checkout line.

 3. To have a family meal without a discussion about bodily secretions.

 2. To actually be able to finish a HOT cup of coffee while her kids are present.
An impossible feat!

 1.
To occasionally get to sleep late on the weekend. I mean is this too much to ask?
Family Movie Night
Would you like to help support an AC3 favorite outreach event, our family movie night? Contact Jenny @ 425-397-6653.

Set up and clean up help is needed to make this event a reality during this year's Strawberry Festival week!

SUMMER PILOT PROGRAM
K - 5th Grade Ministry Makeover
Our K-5th grade departments are in the process of adopting an exciting new 'look and feel' during the summer months at AC3. The new workshop rotation model will take place on Sunday mornings and appears promising to be a good fit for parents, volunteers and kids alike.

Why a program change? After taking a long hard look as to who we are as a ministry team and as a church, we have decided that change is necessary. Using the workshop rotation model should help generate new excitement as well as provide Kreek Kids with a way to improve volunteer-to-child ratios, parent and attender's participation and to increase Bible knowledge in our children. It also allows us to respond to the specialized needs of our children and volunteers by focusing on their unique talents, gifts and passions. It provides the best opportunity to realize our vision; To be the BEST HOUR in Every Family's Week!

9 AM Service Update
During our 9 AM Sunday morning service, our 4 year olds through 5th grade have the privilege of being led by our youth teaching team of 6th-12th graders. Holly Corser, has stepped up to the challenge and is currently gathering lesson materials based on the New Testament parables. The activities she has planned and implemented over the last few weeks have been awesome and include a lot of 'hands on' learning activities. Just what our students need.  Thank you Holly and team!

NEW Check-In Program Starting in May
Starting sometime in May, we will be implementing a more efficient and streamlined Check-In program. Checking your child in and out of Kreek Kids
will be quicker, easier, visitor friendly and will be an overall safer program.
