the BIG Idea?
K-5th Grades
Each
month during Connection services at
AC3, we are implementing one
BIG
IDEA
that our K-5th graders and adults are learning together.
To make the most of this unique church wide teaching, ask your
child what they did and what they learned during Kreek Kids on
your drive home.
During the week, continue growing your family's by posting the
month's BIG
IDEA
handout on your refrigerator and learning the verse and weekly
concepts together. You can find BIG
IDEA handouts
in your child's classroom, on the Check-In Bulletin Board and online.
(Saturday and Sunday services
may vary in content)

Kreek Kids
Making a Global Difference
Starting in March, Kreek
Kids will be starting a 5 for 5
rewards and learning program that is open to
all AC3 families who want to make a difference in the
lives of Malawi children.
Students will be challenged to earn Kreek Kid Bucks that will be traded
in for real $'s (from the Kreek Kids budget) to help
support the Malawi Team 2008.
Kreek
Kids Bucks will be rewarded for learning and completing monthly Bible
and disciple maker challenges at
home each the month. |

Kids Easter Schedule
We're making sure you are up-to-date as Easter arrives early this
year on March 23rd. During our holiday presentations, we have found
there is a growing trend for families to attend services
together. We have modified our programs accordingly. (see
below)
March
21st, Friday @ 7 PM (NO childcare, NO FX room) -
Ticketed Dessert Seating
March 22nd. Saturday @ 7 PM
(Limited childcare programs) - Ticketed Dessert Seating
March 23rd, Sunday @ 9 AM & 10:30
AM (0-5 YR programs) - Open Dessert Seating
NO tickets needed. FX Family Room OPEN to all families.

and watch AC3's Easter production together LIVE; via video feed on the BIG
screen upstairs!
EXtra
space, wiggle room, snacks and quiet activities will be provided for families.
The FX
Room will be open
during Sunday AC3 Easter services.

Planning to attend the next DISHMIXER (an all church potluck/discipleship
class) on May 25th?
Consider bringing your kids!
Although the class is for 6th grade students and up, childcare
will be provided for children ages 0-5th
grade on a DONATION basis by our Malawi Student Team. All
funds raised will go toward their Malawi mission trip in

Facts
Did you know...
A
fresh egg will sink in water but a stale one won't.
White
shelled eggs are produced by hens with white feathers
and ear lobes. Brown shelled eggs are produced by hens
with red feathers and red ear lobes.
Chickens
do not begin to lay eggs until they reach 20 weeks of
age, then they will lay about 245 eggs per year.
China
produces most eggs, at about 160 billion per year. In
the US, about 260 million hens produce more than 65
billion eggs per year. A hen can lay about 250 eggs
per year.
Eggs age more in one day at room temperature than in
one week in the refrigerator.

Spring
training was held on March 2nd for Kreek Kids volunteers, AC3
parents and families. Going with a 'fishy' theme proved to be a
fun way to help everyone 'Catch the Vision' for THE BEST
HOUR!
